If you are experiencing swelling, itchy, achy or heavy feelings in the legs as well as burning, throbbing or even muscle cramping, that is made worse if you are sitting or standing, this blog could be of interest to you.

Today I would like to talk about varicose veins and “spider veins”, as I believe this is a concern that far too many people struggle with.

Varicose veins are large, raised, swollen blood vessels that twist and turn. They usually develop in the legs and can be seen through the skin.

Spider veins are more common and are smaller, red, purple, and blue vessels that twist and turn. Spider Veins are easily visible through the skin, as well.

These veins are all too common and can unfortunately be made worse if we are sitting or standing for extended times, both actions that we cannot avoid.

At Herbs Online Shop our Varicose Veins Drops are made using very specific ingredients, that have been used traditionally for the treatment of spider veins and varicose veins and their uncomfortable symptoms.

Our Varicose Veins Herbal Drops contain horse chestnut, gingko biloba, butchers broom, gotu kola and cramp bark. It is the active compounds in these key ingredients that make our Varicose Vein Drops so effective.

Horse chestnut is a very powerful herb when it comes to helping improve blood circulation in the body. Horse chestnut extract is used as a supplement for chronic venous insufficiency (when the veins of the lower leg are unable to send blood back toward the heart), hemorrhoids, and swelling after surgery.

Unfortunately varicose veins are very common. Varicose veins are simply veins (usually in the legs and feet) that have become swollen and twisted.  This is due to the fact that veins have a one-way valve to help the blood flow up to the heart, but when the vein stops working as a one-way system, it causes blood to pool in the veins and stretches the veins out.

When the blood that starts to pool in varicose veins leaks into smaller blood vessels, the ‘spider vein’ effect, is created, and that is when further complications such as restless legs, pain and discomfort can start to arise.

If you think you might be developing varicose veins or you are currently already suffering from this condition, please do get in touch or pass this blog onto someone you suspect might be struggling with this. When not treated varicose veins can become a very painful condition, and can also impact confidence levels when patients start to cover up their legs/feet with clothing instead of wearing something they would perhaps enjoy more.
