Slippery elm can be used to soothe a number of symptoms.
Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
Soothing a Cough and Sore Throat.
Irritation of the Urinary Tract.
Heartburn and GERD.

Traditionally used for gastritis, peptic ulcer (taken before meals), gastro-oesophageal reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diverticulitis, and intestinal inflammation. Slippery elm contains mucilage, a sticky mixture of sugars that can't be broken down by the human digestive tract and promote healing by creating the production of digestive enzymes, correct pH and promoting the growth of healthy gut flora.

Recent studies have shown that slippery elm bark can help treat the symptoms associated with inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Slippery elm is used as a demulcent for soothing sore throats and mucus membranes, the mucilage coats the throat.

Precautions
Not for use during pregnancy or lactation.

Adult Dose: 2ml once to five times daily.
