Reishi may be helpful during chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Reishi mushrooms also stimulate a type of white blood cells called “natural killer cells”.

Ganoderic acids found in Reishi may lower blood pressure and decrease LDL cholesterol.

Because of the immune boosting action of reishi, it may be helpful with viral infections such as the flu (influenza), swine flu, and avian flu, lung conditions including asthma and bronchitis.

Reishi may also used for HIV/AIDS, altitude sickness, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), trouble sleeping (insomnia), stomach ulcers, poisoning, and herpes pain.

Other uses include reducing stress and preventing fatigue.

Reishi is primarily composed of complex carbohydrates called water-soluble high molecular weight Polysaccharides, triterpeniods, Organic Germanium, Adenosine, proteins, amino acids and Vitamins, Polysaccharides, Beta-D-glucan polysaccharides(beta-glucan polysaccharides) Sterols: Ergosterol, Fungal lysozyme, Proteinase, Triterpenes: Ganoderic acids.
Other constituents: Riboflavin, ascorbic acid, and amino acids, Lipids, Alkaloids, Glucosides, Coumarins, Volatile oil.

Precautions
Not for use during pregnancy or lactation.
