Gut Heal 200g

Description

Gut Heal contains ingredients that are important for the good health of the gastrointestinal tract and to maintain good digestion, and to act as a barrier to defend against microbial invasion.

Gut Heal contains ingredients such as glutamine, which helps nourish cells found in the gut wall and may support the healthy function of the digestive tract.

Slippery elm, mastic gum and aloe vera may help to relieve GI discomfort, soothe the gut wall and may also possess mild anti-inflammatory properties.

Mastic gum - Even low doses of mastic gum — 1g per day for two weeks — can cure peptic ulcers very rapidly, but the mechanism responsible has not been clear. We have found that mastic is active against Helicobacter pylori, which could explain its therapeutic effect in patients with peptic ulcers. Mastic is a resinous exudate obtained from the stem and the main leaves of Pistacia lentiscus. Clinically, mastic has been effective in the treatment of benign gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejm199812243392618; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19879118.

Theracurmin, a well absorbed and highly bioavailable form of curcumin, derived from turmeric, is included in Gut Repair for its antioxidant properties. Curcumin may also support healthy digestive function.
