Echinacea Purpurea Liquid Herb Extract

Echinacea purpurea

Description

Echinacea may be helpful with Immune modulating and is indicated with chronic infection. Echinacea is a herb that encourages the immune system and reduces many of the symptoms of colds, flu and some other illnesses, infections, and conditions.

Research shows that echinacea increases the number of white blood cells, which fight infections.

Echinacea appears to be most effective when started as soon as symptoms are noticed, taken many times a day, and used for seven to 10 days.

Many of Echinacea’s chemical constituents are, in fact, powerful immune system stimulators and can provide a significant therapeutic value. A few that you’re probably familiar with are essential oils, flavonoids, inulin, polysaccharides and vitamin C.

Echinacea cuts the chances of catching a common cold by 58 percent. Echinacea reduces the duration of the common cold by almost one-and-a-half days.

Echinacea is used widely all over the world for a range of illnesses, infections, and conditions. Some of these uses are, acid indigestion, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), chronic fatigue syndrome, dizziness, genital herpes, gum disease, malaria, migraine, pain, rheumatism, streptococcus infection, flu, tonsillitis, typhoid, urinary tract infection and vaginal yeast infection.

Eastern purple cornflower, or simply purple cornflower, refers to Echinacea purpurea. It enjoys a wide distribution in North America, though they thrive in large concentrations in the wild in regions close to the east coast. Unlike all other species of echinacea, it grows from a woody base with fibrous roots instead of a taproot. Its flowers are arranged in a cone, sitting atop a stem that grows up to 40 inches.
