5 Essential Steps for New Health in the New Year By Karen Morris

With the launch of our next 30 Day Challenge (the Herbs Online Shop Christmas Fitness Challenge) I thought I would take this week’s blog as an opportunity to write about the best ways to change your health for the better. With a new year quickly approaching, we don’t have to bring bad habits with us, now is the perfect time to de-stress and re-evaluate where we are at, and where we want to go.

 

 

 

  1. Are you Happy?

Think about the day-to-day of your life right now, are you happy? What do you do everyday that causes stress or sadness? Is there something in your life that takes away your energy instead of boosting your energy? This is the time to really decide if this person/place/habit still has a place in your life.

 

  1. Sleep More

We could all use more sleep, don’t be hard on yourself if you sleep in a little longer over the Christmas break, but do be sure to get to bed early. Staying up late into the night watching TV or staring at phone screens is very detrimental to your health.
