3 Tips to Fast-Track Your Path to Better Health

Karen Morris

With our first 30 Day Challenge now wrapping up, some of the concerns that have been voiced are that it really isn’t easy to stay motivated sometimes! Staying motivated while on the path to better health can be tricky when you are bored of your exercise routine and your diet is not varied or interesting. Just like no one wants to eat chicken and broccoli every day, hitting the gym to do the same workout day in and day out is just as bland and boring– yet so many of us do it. This is why it can be easy to give up, or fall off track when trying to improve our health. To ensure you are progressing to better health, it’s essential to keep your body and mind engaged and connected when you exercise while also including some of the foods you love (in moderation) into your nutrition plans. This will not only keep you happy (very important!) but you will see more results from your exercise too. Shocking the muscles with different, unexpected styles of exercise will not only improve your results, but your brain health will benefit too, while including a wide variety of foods in your diet (think lots and lots of different colored vegetables) will keep your gut health happy. Here are three tips to fast-track your way to better health!

Vary Your Exercise
Varying your workouts on a daily basis will not only boost your health and your results, but your mindset is guaranteed to enjoy some of the benefits too. When our workout routines get boring and our results start to suffer, we can be deterred from going to the gym or exercising altogether. After all, if you don’t feel or see any changes, are you really going to put in the effort to get to the gym when it’s cold and raining outside? Sally Wadyka is a Health and Fitness Writer with One Medical who believes in the power of switching up your workouts.

Not only will varying your training on a daily basis make exercise more fun, but committing to a regular schedule of activity will become easier. “Change up your routine so that you include several types of activity every week. You’ll see better results and have a lot more fun doing it” says Wadyka.

Include This Liquid Herbal Extract
My Celery Liquid Herb Extract from www.herbsonlineshop.com is an amazing source of antioxidants with beneficial enzymes, vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin B6. The liquid herbal extract works by helping the process of urination, which will assist the body during detoxification. The seeds also prevent urinary tract infections in women, reduces high blood pressure and helps to lower cortisol due to the phthalides (organic chemical compounds). When these things occur, the entire cardiovascular system of the body can work more efficiently because there is less stress on the body and therefore a reduction in the risk of developing atherosclerosis (plaque hardening in the artery walls), heart attack or stroke.

De-Stress
Stress truly is a major cause of many health complications, it is essential that you do something every week (ideally every day) to de-stress. When we reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) by relaxing, we allow our body and mind the time to heal. If you are struggling with weight issues, elevated cortisol levels could have something to do with any troubles you may be experiencing trying to lose weight. Make sure you prioritize time to unwind, it will make you a healthier, happier person.
