2022: What decisions will you make?

This week, let’s talk about the power of our decisions. So often I speak with clients who feel powerless when it comes to their health, but we always have power over our choices and our perspectives. 

What happens to you does not control your life, what you decide to do with what happens controls your life. Your choices, your actions and reactions are what is shaping your future and all of these decisions are made by you. When it comes to our health, making choices that help us align with our goals is not always easy. Especially with Christmas coming up, it’s important to remain balanced and know that you can enjoy the good things you want but also stay healthy. 

On average, we make 35,000 decisions a day, many of which are the same decisions we made the day before which is why for many people, tomorrow is a carbon copy of today!! 

Even how we feel is a decision, we choose to feel everything, it is only through conditioning and repetition that our emotions seem so concrete, but through deliberate re-conditioning we can change our entire personality – which is essentially our dominant state of emotion. Your success with your health is directly proportional to the amount of personal development you are willing to undertake, because everything we create is coming from us. When we start a new diet or health protocol sometimes we “fall off the wagon”. When this has happened in the past, what was the reason you “fell off the wagon?” 

Didn’t know enough?

Didn’t have the money?

Didn’t have the time?

Didn’t have the support from family or friends?

Didn’t have a mentor?

Didn’t have the technology?

The defining factor for not succeeding is never about resources, it’s about resourcefulness. Decisions shape our destiny – and it comes down to three things:

  1. What are you going to focus on? Right now you have to decide what you’re going to focus on
  2. What does this mean?
  3. What are you going to do?

If you have decided that today you would like to do something to change your life, commit to do something to strengthen your body, mind and spirit. That can be as easy as one workout, read one chapter of a book and meditate for one hour.
